Hilton Head Island 2012

We very fortunate to be able to spend another vacation in Hilton Head this summer!  We had a wonderful time.  It was so quiet, peaceful and relaxing and so great to get away for a while!  This year we stayed in a house in a wonderful neighborhood just steps from the beach.  So much better than the hotel we stayed in last summer!  It was great to be able to relax and cook our own meals and have a whole house to spread out in.  I loved it so much that I have been trying to find a way for us to live in Hilton Head all the time!  Hopefully we can at least make it back there next summer!

The beach was great, filled with lots of sea life, tiny baby-friendly waves, and hardly any people.  It was like we had our own private beach. AMAZING!  Here is Sam with a little crab he found the first day.

Hannah loved the beach from the minute we arrived!

It took Reagan a little while to warm up to the idea of the ocean...

Here is just one of the hundreds of hermit crabs we saw that week!

Daddy and the girls built some awesome sand castles!

I am not sure how we managed to make it 4 years without ever going to Chuck E Cheese, but we did, and on Hannah's actual birthday (which was also Father's Day) we took her to Chuck E Cheese to play for a while.  They had a good time playing the games and then afterwards we went out for grownup food at a real restaurant for Father's Day.

Happy Father's Day!

Here is Hannah with her baby tree that is now 4 years old!  It is still pretty small since we kept it in a pot for the first 3 years of its life until we knew we were in the house we were going to be staying in.  She is getting so big!

Big Girl Bike

One of Hannah's favorite birthday presents this year....her new big girl bike!  Grandma and Papa Sampson, Uncle Andrew, Aunt Jackie, Uncle Josh and Aunt Amy all chipped in to get Hannah a new bike. She loves it, although is still a little scared of it.  She has not quite figured out how to use the brakes since her feet don't touch the ground!  And now Reagan is the proud owner of a little pink tricycle!

Hannah's 4th Birthday Party

A couple weeks ago we celebrated Hannah's 4th birthday!  Can't believe my little baby is getting so big!  We invited all her friends and had her party at Peachtree Gymnastics.  Hannah loved taking gymnastics class there, and I loved the idea of not having to set up or clean up afterwards!  They had a great time!  Here is Hannah about to leave for her party.  She wanted a Hello Kitty theme, so she wore this shirt, we had a Hello Kitty cake, and a few decorations.

Summertime!!

Savannah

A few weeks ago Sam and I escaped to Savannah for a couple nights to go to Melody's engagement party.  Sam's parents came up to watch the girls and it was so nice to get away just the two of us.  We had a great time checking out Savannah.  We stayed at a super nice hotel right in the middle of the historic district and walked around, ate, visited the beach and of course went to the most awesome engagement party ever!
