Our First Trip to the Children's Museum

Yesterday Hannah and I met up with my friend Erika and her daughter Ava at the Atlanta Children's Museum. We had a great time! I thought Hannah would be too little for a lot of the stuff there, but lots of it was just right for her! We will definitely be going back again!

Then Hannah got to wear a smock and paint on the walls....hopefully she won't try this at home!

The Wait Begins....

So, as many people already know, we have decided to sell our house. We know that this is a horrible time to sell a home, but we are hoping to get a great deal on our next place. Sam and I have debated back and forth about moving back to Florida and while we would love to be closer to our family, Sam and I have decided we have a good thing going here too and it would be foolish to leave our jobs right now. So the plan is to sell our home and get a newer, larger one that is closer to Sam's work, so that he is not spending so much time commuting to and from work.

It has been a lot of work to keep the house always picked up and ready to be shown....you never know when someone might call wanting to see it. We have shown it quite a few times on the weekends so far and have more showings set up for this weekend! Hopefully we will find someone who loves our house as much as we did when we first moved here! We are planning on going out this weekend and looking at some areas to possibly move closer to Sam's work.

So wish us look on finding someone soon to buy our home! We are looking forward to moving on to our next place!

We have poop in the potty!

So we have very exciting news.....Hannah pooped in the potty! She kept saying "poop" this morning and she had not gone yet, so I thought I'll just let her try sitting on it and see what happens! I read to her on the potty for a couple minutes and then.....there was poop in there! We were both very excited! We celebrated with lots of "Yea!" and "Good Job!", clapping, hugs and a couple stickers. Not bad for the first try! We'll see if she keeps it up!

Happy 30th Birthday Daddy!

Sam turned 30 yesterday. Very exciting! Unfortunately Sam had to work all day on his birthday and given that we have a baby and one on the way, we did not do anything too exciting. Just dinner and some cupcakes and gifts, but it was a good time! Hannah loved the cupcake and was asking to eat one all day long! Hannah was watching Sam open his presents yesterday morning and said "Wow, cool!" when he was opening his gifts. It was really cute. We hope he had a great day and we love him! He is the best husband and daddy!

Happy 2010!

I know it is a little late, but the Sampson family has a great new year's day! Daddy and Hannah got to play all weekend while mommy was at work! We were still recovering from our Christmas trip and working on getting some things done around the house. We have big plans for 2010. The most exciting of course is that we will be welcoming a new baby into our family in just 2 short months! We are so excited to meet her! We are also planning on selling our home and moving closer to Sam's work. Daddy spends way too much time commuting and we want him home with us! We will be having a very busy and exciting year!
