Hannah's First Hiking Trip

Today we took our first family hiking trip. It was very short, but it was still fun. We took Hannah to Kennesaw Mountain and daddy carried her for the first time in her carrier. She didn't like the carrier when we tried it at home, but when we were at the mountain she fell right asleep. It was pretty hot out so we didn't stay out for long.

Hannah is 1 month old!

Today is Hannah's 1 month birthday! She is growing so much and doing all kinds of new things! She learned how to roll over from her tummy to her back yesterday! She also is getting very good at holding her head up all by herself! But, her biggest accomplishment is that she has been sleeping through the night!! Mommy and Daddy are very excited about that!! The last three nights she has slept from about 11pm to 6 am. We are hoping this continues but we are not getting our hopes up!

Tummy Time

Hannah is getting so strong, she is constantly trying to hold her head up all on her own. We are doing some tummy time every day and she is getting stronger and stronger!

3 Weeks Old

Hannah is three weeks old today! I can't believe it! She is doing great and looking bigger everyday. I think she is going through a little growth spurt because she seems to be eating constantly the last couple days! Here she is, asleep on mommy's chest....this is her favorite place to nap!

2 weeks old already!

Well, I can't believe that Hannah was two weeks old already on Tuesday. Time is just flying by. I already feel like she is just growing too fast. We had a pediatrician appointment on Tuesday and she now weighs 6 lb. 14 oz. Bigger than her birth weight! I guess I shouldn't have been doing all that worrying about breastfeeding, because she obviously is getting enough food! She also grew almost in inch. She is now 18 3/4 inches tall. She is a growing girl!! This is the first week Hannah has been home alone with her mommy. So far it is going well. We are still getting to know each other and trying to figure out some kind of daily routine.
