Hannah's Party

Hannah's 2nd birthday party was a big success! We had it outside at the Kidstock Park in Woodstock. It was so hot, but the kids all had a good time and played in the water misters to cool off.
I was so proud of my cupcakes! They took forever to make, but they came out great. They got a little melted in the sun, but I was happy the kids all knew what they were supposed to be. Go Wonder Pets!!

Hannah's 2nd Birthday!

Our sweet little Hannah turned two today! She is getting so big. Her party is going to be on Saturday, but today we just spent the day as a family and tried to make today extra special for her! It all started with some presents as soon as she woke up!
Daddy got to stay home from work today! Yea! Reagan was very interested in watching Hannah open some presents.
Some new blocks are always fun!
We decided to go to Southern Prep in the morning. This place is great and Hannah loves it! It is a gymnastics gym, but they are also open for open play times where the kids can just go run around and bounce on all the equipment. They have trampolines, swings, stuff to climb on, a bounce house and pits of foam to jump into.

Hannah and Daddy were checking out the spring-loaded floor

Time for lunch and a nap after playing hard this morning!
This desk was a big hit. Stocked full of new arts supplies for the birthday girl. She loved it!
Then we moved to the backyard, or "back of yard" as Hannah likes to say. Grandma and Grandpa Dergosits got Hannah this turtle sandbox for her birthday. She loves the sandbox at the park, but is not too sure about this one yet. She would not touch the sand because it was "too sticky."
Time to play in the pool. Mommy and Daddy even tried out the pool today and Reagan stuck her little toes in too.
mmmm..... Popsicle!
Hannah has been asking to make pizza the last couple days, so tonight we made pizza together. She was a great helper!

Time for a few more presents before bed. Thanks Grandma and Papa for sending birthday presents!
She loves this little outfit with the tutu and wanted to wear it to bed. We are all tired out from Hannah's day of fun. We love you little one! Happy Birthday!

Fun in the Bath!

Well, Reagan does not seem to having so much fun, but we were enjoying seeing them in the tub together!

Hannah is looking like she is up to trouble!

Her hair is completely out of control these days. Too short to put it all up, but a mess when it is down!
I am amazed by the speed at which Hannah can completely destroy her room. I swear her room was totally clean about five minutes before I found this.

Tonight was Hannah's first night sleeping in her big girl bed! She did great!

Most of our family and friends already know this, but the contract on our house fell through last week. We were actually supposed to close today, but instead we are starting all over. Oh well, things happen! It just created so much work for us since we had already started packing, taking pictures off the walls, curtains down, etc. Now even though we are still trying to sell the house we had to put all that stuff back to be able to show the house again! Hopefully we will get another offer soon. It is very stressful waiting for the house to sell and not knowing when we will be moving!

Hannah, Reagan and Sam have been sick with colds for the past couple weeks. This has made for two grouchy little children and a rough start to the summer. It is much harder with Hannah here all week and not going to Mother's Morning Out. We are getting by though. We have been playing in the sprinkler, with water balloons and in a little pool outside. Sam and I heard Reagan laugh out loud for the first time a couple nights ago. She gets so excited laying under her little play gym and seeing her toys or watching Hannah play.
Hannah really does have a bathing suit....it is just easier to let her run around outside in her diaper!

Reagan just started trying out the Bumbo chair. She is not too sure about it yet.
