My Mommy Made This...

Yes, that's right. I made a dress. My first time making a little dress for Reagan. It was super easy too. She seems to like it and looks very cute. It didn't even cost anything since it was made from leftover material from her tablecloth I made for her birthday party! Hannah wants one next. I have been being pretty crafty lately. I made a birthday pennant banner for Reagan's party and new curtains for her room. The sewing machine is getting lots of use!

Reagan's Birthday Party

We have been so busy lately that I am just now getting around to posting pictures from Reagan's party. Better late than never, I guess! We really had a great time and enjoyed every minute of Reagan's first birthday. We had a great turn out with a bunch of kiddos which made the party so much more fun! Here is Reagan in her party dress waiting for her friends to arrive.
These cupcakes were the best thing I have ever baked. They were so yummy and we had a little mini cake for Reagan to dig into.
Happy Birthday to Reagan!
She wasn't too sure about eating the cake until I gave her a bite off a fork, then she really dug into it.
Eventually she just picked it up and started sucking the frosting off. The frosting was the best part! I don't think I have a good picture of when she was done eating, but she ate almost the whole thing.
Reagan had 3 little friends about her age at the party and they had a great time playing with toys. This is Reagan and Garrett checking out a new toy.
Hannah also had some kiddos her age over and they had a blast as well. Here is Hannah and her good buddy Jack.
We were even lucky enough to have Sam's parents come down to be at the party with us and also my BFF, Melody, came down from Savannah. We sure had a great time!! Can't believe our little one is 1!

Reagan's First Birthday!

Our little Reagan celebrated her first birthday today. Time is just flying! Sam stayed home from work today so we could all spend the day together. We didn't do too much since the weather was so bad, but we did go out to lunch and play at the house. Here is Hannah greeting her sister in the morning with a big birthday hug!

This is one of Reagan's new toys. She is not quite big enough for it yet, but she will get there soon!
I made my first cake from scratch tonight for a trial run for her party on Saturday. It wasn't very pretty, but it sure tasted good!

I can't believe it has been a year already. This past year has been one of the hardest with having to adjust to two kiddo's in the house, but it has definitely been the best so far! This little girl brings such joy to our lives and we are so in love with her! We can't wait to see how she grows and who she grows up to be.

A couple of announcements...

I wanted to make completely sure before I made this announcement, but here it goes....Hannah is potty trained! Yup, it's official, no more potty accidents and she actually tells us when it is time to go. We have been waiting such a long time for this! Our friends who don't have kids probably don't understand our excitement, but it really is a big deal!

Reagan has a new trick too! She is walking! She started a couple weeks ago with a few steps here and there, but she is a true walker now! Walking all over the house. I think she may have even run a little bit today!

Way to go little girls!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Yesterday we celebrated Sam's 31st birthday. He had to go to work all day, but we were lucky enough to get to spend all day Monday, Tuesday and part of Wednesday with him due to the snow/ice. Hannah wanted to make him a birthday hat. It was lovely and made from purple and pink paper, sort of looking like a pirate hat. Daddy loved it and wore it all around the house for Hannah! We made him a cake, lit some candles (Hannah immediately blew them out), lit the candles again, and sang Happy Birthday. Then Sam and I cooked and enjoyed a delicious (adults only) steak dinner. Yum!

Hannah and Reagan are so lucky to have the best daddy there is! He sure is an awesome husband too! We love you Sam and hope you had a great 31st birthday!
