Another update....

Hannah is getting so big and is so much fun. I can't believe she is going to be 1 soon! Time is flying. So lets see....since I posted last Hannah finally got her first tooth. She has been working on it for quite some time. Then, a few days later she got another one beginning to poke through. They are not the ones that normally come in first. They are on the top on the sides, but we will take whatever we can get. She pretty much is eating everything even without teeth. She really prefers to feed herself these days rather then us feeding her baby food. She is becoming very independent!

Since it has been so nice out we went and got a little pool for the backyard. We tried it out yesterday. She pretty much hated it and screamed every time I put her in. I told her it was like the bathtub but she did not care. She liked sitting outside next to the pool though and reaching in the getting the toys out.

We also tried finger painting for the first time last week. She actually did really good with it. She only tried to eat it once and then the rest of the time she just played in it.

Sam and I went to the Atlanta Steeplechase last weekend. We had a great time, although I tried betting on the underdog horse because I wanted to win big, but I ended up not winning anything! We still had fun though!

Hannah's First Easter

The Sampson family had a nice first Easter with Hannah. It was fun to dress her up in her pretty dress and she enjoyed the Easter basket left by the Easter Bunny. She was very into the plastic grass and the packaging from everything in her basket. We tried to pose her outside with our bunny, Charlie, but the bunny was not having it. He kept trying to hop away and Hannah was trying to chase him.

The Saturday before Easter we went to down to the trail at Cochran Shoals and took Hannah for a long walk. Hannah enjoyed being outside and watching all the other people. We took her down by the water and she liked that too. Pretty soon she will be big enough to go fishing with Daddy down there!

9 Months Old

Hannah is 9 months old today! I can't believe it. She will be 1 before we know it! She is keeping us so busy! She is just into everything and is always on the go! She makes us tired just watching her!
She went to the doctor last week for her 9 month check up and she only weighs 14 pounds, 10 ounces. She is so little! She eats all the time, but she is just burning it off so fast with all her crawling, cruising, and playing!
We are so glad it is finally getting warm here. We have been dying to play outside and wear some of the cute spring clothes that did not fit last year!
Grandma and Grandpa Sampson are coming up next week to visit and we are very excited to see them! They have not gotten to see Hannah since Christmas and she is so different now. It will be a fun time getting to visit with them!

Here are some more pictures of little Hannah! She is at such a fun age right now. I love it! She can crawl so fast now! She is trying to pull up on everything and can stand up holding on for a few minutes. She is taking lots of falls these days and we have really been trying to pad everything so she does not get hurt. I am going back to work full time next week. I am a little sad about this! Hannah is going to be going to daycare 1 day a week while I am at work. I found a really nice place and I feel okay about leaving her there. I am glad see will get to play with some other little babies! She is still saying "Mama" all the time and we are trying to get her to say "Dada", but no luck yet. Hope you all enjoy the pictures!

Hannah just loves to play with the dogs and they love her too! We just have to try to hold them back from licking her face constantly!

Hannah just loves her daddy! This is now her favorite toy....it has a bear that dances around and she can pull herself up to standing with the handles.

Hannah says her first word!

So Hannah said her first word! She said "Mama". Apparently she said it the first time to daddy while I was at work on Sunday but he didn't want to tell me because he didn't want me to be sad that I missed it. All day yesterday she was saying it too. Sam thinks that she is just making noise and that I shouldn't count it as her first word, but I disagree. She is definitely clearly saying "Mama". Now we have to work on getting her to say "Dada". We are still working on the sign language. We do it to her all the time, but she has not signed anything back yet. She does know what the sign "milk" means though, she gets super excited when she sees this one. She is so cute, I can't believe she is starting to talk already!

Here's some new pictures of Hannah. She is loving when Daddy plays the guitar for her. She is crawling all over the house now and Saturday Sam found her standing up in her crib! She is getting so big!

New Pictures

It's been awhile since we have posted new pictures. Everyone is doing well. Hannah has had a little cold the last week or so and then passed it on to Sam and I. We are all recovering now. Hannah is still working on crawling, but has not quite mastered it yet. We have babyproofed the house. She got a walker for Christmas and now can really get moving in it and chases us around the house. She has such a great personality and is so much fun! Hope you all enjoy the pictures!

Christmas

The Sampson family had a great Christmas this year. It was so much more fun to have a little one to celebrate with. We all loaded into the truck and drove down to Florida to spend about 5 days between the 2 grandparents houses. Hannah had a great time and got a lot of fun presents. This year though she really was more interested in the paper and bows. Hannah got her first baby doll and a bunch of clothes and lots of toys. Mommy got a food processor so that I can start making her baby food. She tried some avocado, mashed potatoes and grits while we were in Florida. We were also able to visit some friends of ours in Fl and Hannah got to play with their little girl, Alana. In Lake Wales, Hannah got to meet her Aunt Amy for the first time!

On Christmas morning, we were all awakened by Aunt Ashley and Aunt Maddy, who were very excited to see what Santa had left them. Hannah was a little overwhelmed by all the excitement and after all the presents were opened she took a very long nap! Daddy got an amp for his guitar so now he can play music for Hannah. She loves it and has a xylophone that she can play along with daddy. Hannah also got a walker to chase mommy and daddy around the house in, and some sippy cups. It was a great first Christmas for us....one we won't ever forget! Hope you all enjoy the pictures!

Here is Hannah digging into her stocking!
