We had some family photos taken a couple weeks ago in the Chimney Springs park behind our house.  They came out great!

Ben is 1 month old!

This is a few days late, but here's what Ben is up to at 1 month old!

Wt: 10 lb 13 oz (75th percentile)

Length: 22 inches (75th percentile)

He is huge!  Compared to our petite little girls, we have one gigantic boy baby!  Just to compare, Reagan was only a few ounces heavier than Ben when she was 4 months old!  

He has outgrown just about all of his newborn clothes, so sadly I am putting those away to make way for the bigger stuff.  He is growing so fast!  He is nursing well and eating every 2-3 hours during the day.  He has been going to bed at night between 8 and 9 p.m., waking up around 12 and 4 a.m. to eat and then up for the day around 6 a.m.  I am tired!  Hopefully soon he will start sleeping longer stretches at night!  

We haven't really gotten to see too much personality from little Ben yet.  No smiles yet, but he loves to snuggle and usually prefers Mommy to comfort him.  The last few weeks on our own without the help of Sam's parents have been challenging, but are getting easier every day!  The girls have been helpful and love having a little brother around!  Here's the first of his monthly pictures with his elephant that Grandma Sampson knitted for him!

We are so enjoying little baby Ben!  Can't believe he is already a month old!

My Little Tinkerbelle

Hannah has been doing Tinkerbelle's ballet class at school all year and today was the big day.....the recital!  I wasn't sure how she would do since she often gets very nervous around a lot of people, but she did great and even got up and introduced herself in front of the crowd before the dancing began!  All the little girls were so cute and did such a great job.  Maybe we have a little future dancer in our family!

Hannah's Preschool Graduation!

Our sweet first baby girl graduated from preschool last night!  It makes me a little sad that she is growing up so fast, but also excited to start this new chapter of elementary school!  Graduation was fun and the kiddos were super cute singing their little songs and getting their diplomas.  Just a few short months until kindergarten!

Hannah is still convinced that her and Brent are getting married.  She told me he "promised to marry her" when they got grown up.
