Mel and Scott's Wedding Weekend!

One of my goals for the pregnancy was to keep baby Ben in long enough to go to Melody and Scott's wedding.  Being the matron of honor, I thought it was pretty important I attend and would have been so sad to miss my best friend's wedding!  Fortunately, everything worked out and we made a nice family weekend out of it!  We left on Friday to head down to Amelia Island.  The girls were pretty excited to get in some beach time, but unfortunately the weather was not cooperating and they only got about 5 minutes of play time in before the rain started.  We were very lucky to have Grandma and Papa drive up to meet us there to watch the girls during the wedding festivities.  Uncle Andrew, Aunt Jackie and Presley met up with us there too to give the cousins some play time together!

Melody and Scott had an awesome 80's cover band, McFly, at the wedding.  Mel and Scott ended the wedding singing a song together up on the stage.  It was awesome!  We had such a great time and I am so happy that we were able to make it to celebrate my best friend's special day!

Last weekend I had a little getaway to Charleston to celebrate Melody's upcoming nuptials!  We had a great time and it was so nice to get away to have a girls weekend!  We stayed in a lovely little house facing the ocean with a view of the marsh in the back.  It was so relaxing!

 We spent most of Saturday on the beach and hanging out on the porch of our house.  I got THE WORST sunburn ever on my legs. 

 Love this girl!  Can't wait to see her get married in 2 weeks!

 Saturday night we went out to dinner and then to a bar in Charleston.  Sadly, no drinks for me, but I still had a great time!

More pictures from our Easter festivities!  Friday morning the girls were out of school and we dyed eggs in the morning.  We only did a few (since I am the only one who eats them) and some got cracked in the process, but we had a good time!

 Saturday morning was the Chimney Springs egg hunt.  The girls had a good time at this with their Daddy while I was at work.

 I got to stay home from work on Easter and enjoyed a great day with the family.  The girls were super excited about their Easter baskets.  Then we all went to church and just spent the rest of the day at home.  A nice, relaxing day!

Yesterday was Hannah's egg hunt at school.  The kiddos had a great time finding eggs!  They are getting super excited about Easter!

These are a couple weeks old, but so far the only belly pics I have taken this pregnancy.  I was 32 weeks here and happy to get out for a date with Sam while his parents were here visiting!  Just 6 more short weeks until we meet baby Ben!
