Thanksgiving

Just wanted to share a few family pictures from our trip down to Florida for Thanksgiving.  We had a great time and it was so nice to see everyone!  Aunt Amy and Uncle Josh made it down from Oklahoma to spend Thanksgiving with the family!
Another one of Reagan's "cheese" faces!

Reagan and Presley playing so sweetly together.

The whole Sampson gang!

love this!  Presley and Reagan giving goodbye kisses!

After Thanksgiving in Lake Wales and Kissimmee, we went over to Aunt Kim's house where she cooked an amazing feast!  Here is Ashley and Grandma!

Disney World!

We made our first trip to Disney World while we were in Orlando for Thanksgiving.  We had a great time and Hannah was super excited to get to see all the characters and the castle she has seen in the Disney movies.  We rode lots of rides, watched a couple parades, ate lots of snacks and walked around taking in the sights.  Here we are when we first arrived at the Magic Kingdom!  Note the tanks and shorts two days before Thanksgiving.  It was hot!
Hannah loved seeing the castle but was a little disappointed that she couldn't actually go in it.

Here is Hannah and Reagan in Winne the Pooh's house!

High-five for Donald Duck!

Waiting patiently for the parade to start.  I think Hannah liked the parade the best because she got to see every Disney princess in one place.

We also got to get a close-up visit with Mickey and Minnie. Hannah loved this! Reagan was so scared so we didn't get any pictures of her with Mickey.  Hannah wants this one framed for her room!

We stayed as long as we could with two little ones.  Hannah started asking to go home around 5pm, but we stuck it out until 6:30 or so.  They didn't nap once all day and even in the car they stayed awake on the way home.  These are 2 tough little kids.  Notice no shoes on Reagan.....she threw them out the side of the stroller halfway through the day and had to spend the rest of the day barefoot!  A very special, magical day!  Can't wait to go back again when Reagan is a little bigger!

When I woke up today, after having worked last night, I was in for a big surprise!  I came downstairs and Sam brought me a plastic bag with a bunch of pretty blonde hair in it, and did not at all prepare me for what I was about to see.  Hannah had given herself a haircut!  Her pretty long blonde hair was now a horrible mullet-like mess!  I instantly started crying and Hannah tried to make me feel better by telling me it was okay.  I know most little kids do this at some point in time, but Hannah loved her hair and wanted it to be "long like Rapunzel,"  so I never thought she would do this with her little safety scissors!  She didn't just take off a little bit.  She cut the hair all around her face really short, leaving the long hair in the back.  We, of course, had to bring her to get it fixed pretty quickly, since I knew she couldn't head off to preschool like that tomorrow.  We ended up cutting it pretty short and she actually looks pretty cute with it like that.  She promised never to cut her own hair again!
Here are some pictures of the hack job she did to her hair and the long mullet in the back!

Here are the after pictures!  She is still super cute, but this is not how I imagined her first major haircut happening!

Halloween

After the numerous festivities leading up to Halloween, finally the big day arrived!  Hannah did awesome this year and really hit up a lot of houses.  They were running from house to house for a LONG time before finally tiring out.  I had the hardest time getting good pictures since she was running in them all!  Here is Reagan, again trying to get to a lollipop!

Hannah and Jack finally tired out and riding in the wagon!

Halloween Carnival

The Halloween festivities continued with the Chimney Springs Halloween Party!  As social co-chair for the neighborhood, this party was all my doing with the help of my co-chair, Allison.  This made it much more stressful (especially since I had worked the night before) this year with all the setting up and making sure everything went smoothly, but it actually turned out really well and everyone had a great time!  Here is me with my little ladybug, Reagan.
Another lollipop, trying to get it in her mouth!

Here is Hannah and her future prom date, Jack!  They are such good little buddies!

Little Presley dressed up as Raggedy Ann and was SO cute!

Hannah with her best bud, Addie, during the costume parade.  Hannah was Belle from Beauty and the Beast.

Sam and I loving on our little niece.  Somehow we never ended up with a picture with our own kids in the their costumes.

Sadly, after the party Andrew, Jackie and Presley had to head back home to Lakeland.  We had a such a great visit with them!  We tried to get a picture with all of us and our little ones, but so hard to get them all to look at the camera at the same time!
